Majora’s Mask – Terrible Fate

A tribute to the legendary game “Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask” by studio Ember Lab. The animation is their take on how a film in the Zelda universe could be made possible. An incredible labor of love for fans everywhere.

The animation follows Skull Kid’s descent into madness after discovering Majora’s Mask. With almost no dialogue, the film relies on haunting visuals, and an orchestral re-imagining of Majora’s Mask’s score. Paying homage to the unsettling beauty of one of Zelda’s darkest entries.

Ember Lab would later go on to develop Kena: Bridge of Spirits, a game praised for its animation and world-building.
